You'll revert back to a previous checkpoint, and you'll need to redo the entire thing, delivering the package to Fragile instead.
However if you deliver the cargo to South Knot City, without first visiting Fragile and delivering this package to her, you'll fail the game. This occurs from one of the delivery terminals in the Central Region of Death Stranding, and at this point in the game, it's really easy to miss where Fragile is, and just deliver your additional cargo to South Knot City.
